After the great success of fundraising concert early this year, Li Lu on her return to the Manchester Buddhist Centre in 2012 and will be performing the rest of the Bach Cello Suites in the Lotus Hall
Collaborating with the australian pianist Lee Cheong, Li Lu on her return to the Holy Trinity Church with Beethoven Sonata and contemprory work by Chinese and Australian composers.
In this 2012 summer season, Li Lu will be playing Bach cello suites and some of her own compositions at Lucy’s Barn, a very special venue, 1200’ high up in the fells above Dockray in the Dowthwaite Valley.
Li Lu will profile her new combined arts project: Touring Live Music Sculpture featuring ‘In Love with Bach” . Live performance with her artists’ design work process exhibit.
In this concert, Li Lu will recount, relive, and illustrate her amazing adventures across Europe from Athens to the Edinburgh Festival with only her music talent to survive, to win.
By invitation from Gillian Humphreys, the artists director of Concordia Foundation, Li Lu will play in a programme that especially designed for a cello ensemble, start with unaccompanied Bach and ending with the Bohemian Rhapsody.
